Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
To see quotes, only your gender, birth date, tobacco status, coverage amount, term duration, and general health level matter. That's enough to get back rates from insurers. Your personal details—name, location, medical background—remain private unless you decide to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
The prices displayed reflect what carriers quote for your selected health classification. Your actual premium gets locked in after the carrier completes their review, which might confirm the tier you chose or shift it up or down. These quotes aren't binding; insurance isn't guaranteed at the listed price.
What happens when I click Apply?
After selecting Apply, you enter your name and the application gets built with your exact responses. From there, the form shifts to the carrier's system where you can pause and continue anytime. Signing happens electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, holding California license 0B75129, processes your application.
Will I need a medical exam?
It depends on the carrier you pick, the coverage you're requesting, and your health picture. Carriers with Immediate programs can approve some qualified applicants right away; each quote tells you whether an exam is mandatory, optional, or skipped.
Is a longer term better?
Pick a term that spans the years your household would struggle if you passed away—think a home loan, raising children, or a business liability. Monthly payments climb with longer spans, but your rate stays steady for the whole period. Compare 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30-year lengths using our calculator.
